Do you love golf? Do you inspire and help others? If so, Birdy & Grace is looking for you.
Birdy & Grace, the fashionable and functional golf clothing company, is having a contest to find and honor a woman who has “a passion for golf, family, community, and healthy living,” says Sharon Sunoo, founder of Birdy & Grace. “Our intent with this contest is to honor an individual who is making a difference without fanfare or publicity, who loves golf and who does it all with a certain grace.”
B&G Photo Shoot
The contest winner will receive a trip to New York City and a photo shoot with a top fashion photography team in August 2011. She will be showcased as a featured model in a forthcoming Birdy & Grace collection catalog and the Spring 2012 collection. The lucky lady will also receive custom-fitted outfits and other prizes.
Birdy & Grace launched the contest in 2010 and Shannon Hall from Wilmingon, North Carolina was the winner. She was chosen for her extensive community service, nursing career and her belief “that golf helped her cope with her battle to overcome cancer.”
To be eligible, you must:
- Be an amateur woman golfer over the age of 25;
- Submit a brief essay explaining what golf means in your life, what social causes or philanthropies are important to you, and why you believe you would make a fitting ambassador for Birdy & Grace;
- Provide two photos of yourself; and
- Become a “fan” of Birdy & Grace on Facebook.
Entries must be submitted to info@birdyandgrace.com by June 1, 2011. The winner will be selected by the Birdy & Grace team and announced in July.
